Hey it is summer and a large number of us really like beer...........my take on micro-brewing!

...when they're 3 minutes from the car...

This really appropriate as this past weekend we were in the central Yukon where temperatures were +29C and I came back with many bites from mosquitoes & or blackflies!

...when the time comes...aim for this side

Hey summer driving always involves trying to keep your windscreen clean! Funny how the bugs always seem to hit the drivers side - this is my theory one that one.

Moving here because we like the weather

Well this might be normal for some coastal parts of the country but it has been very wet for the Yukon these past few weeks! The unusually wet conditions have a lot of people on alert and although we really do not have slugs in the north it does feel like they could survive here. On the flip side we have been harvesting the wild mushrooms a lot earlier than expected and they are very abundent!

I think I preferred water rationing.

For all the people in the south dealing with high temperatures and water shortages! Neither of these are concerns in the Yukon this summer, we have some pretty high water in the southern lakes and the thermometer has not been hitting very high on the scales ( Whitehorse anyways).

Truck should be right about here?

NIce quiet weekend

Those lazy, crazy days of summer travel! Sorry I have not been blogging very regularly this past month or so.....I am in that summer mode also....anyhow, hope any of you flying this summer do not need to go to this extreme to get through security.

Alter Pets to prevent problems

Have been unable to blog for the past week (my schedule, not the service), anyhow - I am not into hurting animals but there are a lot of loose unattended dogs out there and not to mention the cats who like to dump in the flower beds.......................when we talk of fixing this is what comes to mind!
