Baseball Diamonds

Baseball Season is winding down and my team the Dodgers appear to be holding on to a slim lead - sort of like finding a diamond! Fall colors really indicate it is time to look foreward to the "fall classic".

Well the leaves are brilliant yellow and throw in a few red. the moose are trying their darndest to keep out of sight! Had a cool morning today around zero celcius!

Have had a few frosts here in the Yukon and some people have even dug up their potatoes. Linda is going to pick her peas today & see what she can salvage from her lettuce!

Our summer has been wet!

The bugs are back

Hello from the "cool" north! Has been too cold for the bugs to really be noticed but this past weekend we had a real warm day followed by a cool evening where we watched bats out goobling the insects up well past midnight.

May 27 I'm back

Well spring finally sprung! Hot weekend saw temperatures in the mid 20's (C) and I thought this was appropriate as Linda planted her garden with help from our good friend Carol

Environment Canada has asked permission to use my cartoons in some of their publications and I have given them that authority. However the various blocks do not allow me to add images as multiple warnings surface and ultimately times out or just stops working!

Spring is in the air

Hello Everyone,
I think spring is very close as today it is nearly +10C the sun is shining and Linda is really wanting to get her garden going (but that is well over a month away here in the Yukon!)

Now that I am occasionally blogging I think I will just be doing this on a weekly basis.

Hey ice fishing is always greaaaat thisss time of year! Actually +7C right now and I should be out ice fishing but will wait a few months and do it in my boat!

Computer Virus

Hello Everyone,

After being inactive for almost half a year I have managed to link up through my home connection. This is how I have felt about computer connections lately!

Since my blog has been inactive for so long I thought I would update to see how difficult it was to do so through work firewall. Hey the outfit wants to use my cartoons I should have access through their system!
